Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.
Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.
The first word God gives Israel at the edge of the Promised Land is simple: Remember the dust, the manna, the tears, the questions—and the God who never left.
As FGA enters our 40th year, this is our call too. Remember the living rooms where worship began, the hotel halls, the plastic chairs, the seasons of little money but great faith. Remember the healings, the altar tears, the voices worshipping together.
This journey wasn’t built by human strength—God’s presence carried us.
So before we celebrate, we pause to remember. Remembrance is worship. It stirs faith and prepares us for what’s next.
Write down one memory of God’s faithfulness in FGA or in your own life. Share it with someone today, a family member, lifegroup member, leader, or friend.
Lord, we remember. You led us, provided for us, and carried us, from living rooms to nations, from a handful of people to generations worshipping together. Forgive us when we forget Your faithfulness. Today, we look back with gratitude and ahead with trust. Continue to write your story through us. Amen.
