42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

The earliest resurrection people didn’t scatter into private spirituality. They formed a community. They broke bread, shared possessions, prayed, worshipped, and cared for one another. This was not a perfect community, but it was a resurrected one, marked by generosity, devotion, and shared life.
In a world of isolation and self-interest, resurrected people choose fellowship over loneliness, shared tables over silent screens, prayer over complaint. Christianity is not just believing in the risen Christ; it’s belonging to His body. Resurrection creates family.
Ask Jesus, “Send me to someone today.” Be attentive. It could be an encouraging text, a listening ear, or a small act of kindness.
Jesus, thank you for not calling me to walk alone. Resurrect my love for community, teach me to give, receive, and belong. Amen.
