One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.

Scripture

Psalm 145:4

One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.

Reflect

One of FGA’s greatest gifts is this: we are a church of generations. Grandparents, parents, teenagers, and children worship under the same roof. Some of our oldest members still lift their hands in worship; some of our youngest recite Scripture and dance during worship with joy. Through the years, aunties and uncles have mentored youths, youths have stirred fresh faith in adults, and children have led us to simple wonder. This is not common. This is holy. For 40 years, God has been faithful across generations. As we step into the next 40, may we not only sit together. May we walk together. May every generation carry the fire and pass it on.

Celebratory Activity

Ask someone from a different generation in FGA to share a story of how they’ve seen God move. Then listen, learn, and bless them.

Prayer

Father, thank You for the generations in our church. Thank you to the elders who have persevered, the adults who serve, the youth who dream, and the children who worship freely. Teach us to honour one another, learn from one another, and walk together into Your future. Amen.
