How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
“Your God reigns!
How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.” In Isaiah’s time, messengers ran across battlefields and hills to announce victory and peace. Today, we carry an even better message: death has been defeated. Christ is risen.
Being resurrection people means we don’t keep the news to ourselves. We walk into workplaces, coffee shops, WhatsApp chats, classrooms, and hospital rooms, with gentle words of life. God does not need polished voices, just willing feet.
Pray this before you leave your house: “Lord, make my steps bring peace today.”
Jesus, You walked dusty roads to bring good news. Let my feet follow Yours into places that need hope. Amen.
