1 As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God?
Lord, awaken holy thirst in us. We don’t want to go through the motions — we want to meet with You. Fill the thirsty. Satisfy our souls with Your presence. Amen.
Pray on the way to church: “Lord, I’m thirsty for You.”
During worship, pause and simply breathe — “I long for You, God.”
